We are surrounded on 3 sides by night clubs, so on the weekends, there is often live music and people talking out on the streets late into the night especially in the summer. If you are looking for a quiet night in downtown Eureka, then make plans to see us in January or February. The Coffee House is opened every day, all year long.
PARKING: The parking is very limited in downtown Eureka Springs. Unfortunately we are only able to offer ONE parking space for this unit in our lot. There are some additional parking options in downtown that are paid or you can park for free in the Music Park lot that is located at 288 Main Street, about 3/4 of a mile down main street from our property. There is a trolley stop at the train station that is close to the park. The other option is to pay in any of the private or city parking in downtown. Any spot with a coin meter is city parking and free overnight from 6pm - 8am the next day.
Building Quirks: The building is 130 years old, even though it has been renovated there are still some things that will help make your stay better. If you use the balcony, make sure the door stays closed, it has a tendency to open on its own, please lock the deadbolt when not in use. To manage the temp, it is best to keep the blinds closed and fans running. The ceilings are high, and even though we added new insulation and a new HVAC unit to this space, it still won't cool much below the low 70's in the dead heat of summer. Due to historical regulations, the windows have not been replaced in the front of the building.
